Hayhoe built these units in 2023. One cluster of six and one cluster of four. These are the first two clusters you will see when you first drive into the complex off Centennial Road.

When we first introduced this complex back in March 2023 we noted that there were sold signs upon individual units prior to these units being finished out. All sales were “in- house” sales. We also note that for a brief period in time a free car was offered with the purchase of any unit. We all know that interest rates jumped up in 2023 taking the winds out of the new home building activities. Both Hayhoe and Doug Tarry Homes have had to slow down in their building activities slightly. Midway in 2023 came the announcement that the new “VW Electric Battery Plant” is coming to St. Thomas. This seven-billion-dollar plant will be the size of 210 football fields and will be Canada’s largest factory complex, employing like 3000 people.

What a boom to the local economy! But wait – this new plant might have a five-year build-out process. Now here is the thing. Hayhoe and Doug Terry Homes collectively have over 110 years of local building experience. Yes, they can offer to wait out the storm. That’s exactly what they are doing. They are now building on an “as needed” basis.

Nine-foot ceilings on the main and three upper bedrooms with upper-level laundry. One known size is 1624 square feet. Sand-coloured brick, light brown front stone highlights, dark brown coloured garage doors, some front wood grain vinyl siding, and slightly raised rear decks facing east.

263-273 Renaissance Road


Brown spotted brick, tan sidings and light gray stone. Interesting newly designed front peaked rooflines.
