"Ritz Homes" built, Summerside Phase Five. Many of these new townhouse style units face onto Bradley Avenue. "Ritz Homes" is a builder based out of Kitchener-Ontario. This builder also built many of the single family homes on Turner Crescent and during this period of building the prices on many of their detached homes jumped from the $700,000 price range to well over the $1,000,000 price range. Existing area residents were happy to see this phenomenon unfold.
Clusters of four or eight. Mostly single car garages with some end units being double car garages. These are four bedroom units with known sizes of 1611 and 1615 square feet. In the last few years many builders have "tricked out" the front facades on their new constructed units to help give them a more contemporary look. Black trim windows and partial black front stone mixed with brown brick. Covered front entrances. Patched of upper front stucco and simulated wood grain siding. Say goodbye to the more traditional front facades we are accustomed to. The colour black now seems to be in vogue.
These units, plus the "Viola" complex by the builder Ironstone built over on Chalton Road and Evan's Boulevard were only two new townhouse complexes on the go in 2021-2022 in this phased of Summerside. All of these Turner Crescent units sold without the assistance of the MLS system. Neat term city plans now call for the development of the vacant lands immediately to the west of this site. More condos and nine apartment towers are now set to go in.
