This complex was built in 1975. By comparison the 700 Osgoode condos close by were built in 1978, the 500 Osgoode Drive condos in 1977, the 590 Millbank Drive complex to the immediate southeast in 1977 and the 1050-1138 Southdale Road East condos directly across the street also in 1975. Most of the condos in this area of Pond Mills are now 45-50 years old.
Is this good or bad? Well all of these condos are close to schools, churches, parks and mini plazas. Most of the children living here do not need to take school buses. This area of Pond Mills has become for many, a community within a community.
