White Oaks, South London Condos
"White Oaks" is located in the far south section of London just north of the 401 highway. The cut off sign on the highway says Wellington Road. Going south takes you to St. Thomas and going north quickly takes you to downtown London. It's also the direction to take to go to the hospitals and university. Out of town visitors frequent the area to shop, gas, or charge up and enjoy its restaurants. It is always a super busy area of town.
Most of the condos built here in the south end of the city were built in the late 70's and early to mid 80's. One exception was the "Copperfield Gate" project by "Rembrandt Homes" constructed in the 2011-2014 period of time. Now some ten years later more new condo projects are going in west of White Oak Road.
This is a busy commercialized section of the city with good bus service to the downtown core.
