Phase Five of Havelock Corners is coming and presold. Our pictures of January 1st, 2023 show the new construction activity on Sobeski Avenue. Clusters 888-896, 898-904, 906-912 and 914-920 on the north side of the street are now occupied and units 893-503 on the south side are occupied. Missing is the sod and finished driveways.

Our previous report of June 2022 showed pictures of clusters still waiting for soffits and facia and garage doors. Things are progression well, however it is going to take until the end of the year to get all 63 of the attached freeholds planned for this street to be finished out. Four blocks of 4 units, five blocks of 5 units and three blocks of 6 units are going in. More pictures to follow as work continues on. It seems like "theKingsmen.ca", headquartered in Woodbridge Ontario is equally focused on getting its single family homes now priced in the $900,000's on streets like Harwood Avenue and Upper Thames Drive further finished out. For over ten years they have been the only builder building out this site and each new phase that opens up sells out quickly with little fanfare. It is difficult not to be impressed with the exterior appearances of their units. They are all brick and all block exteriors with the abundance of windows. Planned communities of this size in Central Mid West Ontario are rare.

Potential purchasers might be annoyed at the lack of detail this builder devotes to its website. Yet it should be remembered that they are running flat out and everything is presold. The City of Brantford, 44 km away, is also witnessing mega sized projects like this on the go.

Five blocks of 4 units, 5 blocks of 5 units and 3 blocks of 6 units are going in.

A new street names Harwood Avenue will have 18 townhomes consisting of 1 block of 5 units, 1 block of 6 units and 1 block of 7 units. Their address will be 201 - 218 Harwood Avenue. 241 - 263 Khalsa Drive will have 23 townhomes consisting of 1 block of 5 units and 3 blocks of 6 units. Finally Cole Terrace will have 62 units consisting of 4 blocks of 4 units, 2 blocks of 5 units and 6 blocks of 6 units.

Watch for the release of yet another phase closer to the end of 2022. North Woodstock is growing!
