A 2008 "Tricar" project. If you're coming in from Toronto because of a job transfer or to be closer to relatives or have retirement plans, you're looking around at what is available, you will quickly recognize this builder's name. Most people who have ever lived in a "Tricar" building have found their experience to be problem free.
How is this building different than other newer "Tricar" projects? Well in many ways it is not really all that much different. The two-bedroom units are particularly bright and spacious, there are penthouse units and there is a preponderance of one-bedroom units. What does this mean? One thing it means is that there are sixteen units on the 2nd to 11th floors. The one bedroom units are typically in the 707; 778; 825; 850 and 853 square foot range. The two bedroom units as mentioned are quite spacious with known sizes of 1,400 and 1,492 square feet. The condo fees for a one bedroom unit in 2023 were $328.00 per month. The two bedroom units enjoy a 3 piece ensuite. Underground and open parking, some storage lockers, exercise room, party room and guest suite. Some wrap-around balconies. A pleasant and friendly front entranceway with an easy drop off and pick up. Built to more elaborate standards than some of Tricar's other condo buildings. This building is nicely set back from the street. Its rear views are a touch disappointing with views of other high rise rental buildings.
"Tricar" has three downtown condo buildings. The new "Azure" building at 505 Talbot Street, the "Renaissance II" at 330 Ridout Street North, and the "Wellington Park" building at 250 Pall Mall Street.
Their newest project in the west end of the city 2021-2024 is the "Westdel by Tricar" at 1975 Fountain Grass Drive (#37 in our Byron section).
