The correct address is 1953-1961, 1965, 1969-1995 Upperpoint Gate. One cluster of five three story units and two clusters of six three story units face the street. Interior units consist of a two-story model style built in nine clusters of eight. This complex, like the phase III complex behind it are built on sloping lands on the east side of the Westdel Bourne Road.
Striking in appearance with white and black exterior colours, a James Hardie board like exterior, black shingles, black exterior window trim and black soffits, fascia and eaves. The three level units which were the first ones to be built offered a 9x20 covered rear deck on the second level and the option of an interior elevator. At an upgrade price of something like $50,000, it is unclear if anyone ever sprang for this option. The three-story units have two sizes, they are 2361 and 2375 sq. ft. In contrast, the two-story single car garage units are in the 1780 sq. ft. range.
In our comments about Phase III of this complex (tab #38) we noted this project, well at least the phase three portion of this project won the award of being "The Best New Townhouse" award from the London Home Builder Association in 2023.
