Multi-level units. Sand colour bricking with brown shingles. Tan trim and garage doors. Black coloured front doors. Full side bricking. Peaked front roof lines, brick driveways. A mix of two and three bedroom units. Single car garages with the exception of two end units at the rear of the complex, having double-car garages and being considerably larger in size.
Features include second level outside front and rear decks, ground level rear patio areas, oversized interior staircases with upper skylight, and a skylight in the master bedroom ensuite. When advertised for sale there is sometimes references to "loft living".
This complex is built in five clusters of four to eight units. The rear cluster of seven units (units 12-19) command premium pricings. They have rear views of greenery which then drops sharply down to the river.
The neighbouring complex to the east is the "Ye Olde Silo" complex at 1385 Commissioners Road West, and to the immediate west is the "Byron River Estate" at 1415 Commissioners Road West. This is one of the few multi-level designed style complexes in the twenty-to-thirty-year age range in this section of the city. This complex is surrounded by deciduous and coniferous trees which help to give it a relaxing feel. The yellow color tones of the bricking are surprisingly refreshing. Reported unit sizes are 936, 1008, 1193, 1256, 1269, 1390, 1410 and 1416 sq. ft. Reported unit sizes may not always be accurate. This is not a comment we make very often however the reasoning is that multi-level units are more difficult to measure.
