1837-1899 Dalmagarry Road
Units (Phase I)183
Built2024-2026
Visit their website and have a look at the large site plan showing the location of all the units. It’s large. 24 four interior clusters of front-to-back three level townhouses built in rows of seven by Birchwood Homes and ten clusters of four townhomes and two clusters of six units. Werrington Homes is also built here; the units facing the road and then row of units behind these units on block of four and two of six and one interior cluster of these units and four clusters of four.
Four future “stacked towns” will finish off the project to the immediate north with outdoor parking to the rear of these units. The interior laneways will be given the names Catalpa Square, Norval Lane, Boreal Gardens, Buckeye Lane and Banyan Lane. Upon completion, this will be the largest condo site in this section of the city. Site preparation has taken over two years.
Just a brief word about these two builders, “Birchwood Homes” is also busy building in Lambeth. In 2021-2022 they built the 30-unit project called “The Gallery” at 6990 Clayton Walk and now they are building “Magnolia Fields” and “Silverleaf”. Past projects are all around town.
The second builder “Werrington Homes” built the “Bungalows of Daventry”, a 77-unit site in “Kilworth Heights West” back in 2021-2023. It was built during a boom period and prices jumped up wildly during the construction process. They enjoyed a similar experience building the 69-unit site in Kilworth called the “Bella Lago Estates”. Now they are busy building in Lambeth. Both survived and flourished by building new condos during the Covid period.
Does north-west London need another big project this large? The answer appears to be yes. In 2017-2019 another builder, Ironstone built 218 units just across the street and a little bit to the north they called “Baja’’. “Baja” sold out quickly. “The North Winds” project, under the guidance of competent builders should be able to sell out this project once it gets going.
