"Auburn Homes Built". This project like a number of the larger luxury one floor condo projects in recent times took a number of years to be built out and sold. In this case it took six years. Today's things sell out as quickly as they can be built.

Earlier buyers into this project were disadvantaged for a number of years by the dust and noise of new construction activity. Auburn Homes did however, to their credit, worked with the single drive entranceway and designed the projects into two sections which were not interconnected so not everyone was inconvenienced as work continued on.

Today the project is completed. It is bordered on the east side and on the south side by wonderful paved walking trails known as the "Cedar Hollow Walking Trail." This trail borders the north side of the Thames River. The units on the south side of this complex (units 27-53 odd numbers only) enjoy lower level rear walkouts. There are attractive front sitting areas with all of these units and nicely designed rear decks, some of which are partially covered. Light brown/sand speckled brick, tan siding, grey spotted shingles, covered front pillared entrances, some end units have more side windows. Units here have a one step front entranceway and block driveways. In many of "Auburn" projects you will find a generous number of recently planted coniferous trees between units.

Known unit sizes of 1120,1147,1166,1170,1240 and 1257 square feet.

Long term readers of this website might share this observation. There is no real correlation between how long it takes to build out a project like this and how strong or how weak its resale values will be going forward.

This is a large, quality built project by a respected new home builder. Location wise, this is an outer edge North East London location in a new neighbourhood along the river totally void of commercial activities. This complex enjoys a wonderful sense of privacy.
